32 - some handsome Francis men brightened my day with a FaceTime call :)

33 - explored the Old City on Shabbat with these kids. maps are your best friend!

34 - our group conquered Hezekiah's Tunnel! seriously one of the coolest things I've ever done

35 - another handsome Francis man brightened my day.. what a chunky piece of love. <3 this lil guy!

36 - Paige gave one of the smelly moshav cats a bath :) such a funny thing to witness hahaha

37 - the Garden Tomb. not the place of Jesus's burial and resurrection but is traditionally accepted to be so and resembles what His tomb would have looked like. I sat on a bench nearby and read John 19-20 to myself. my soul was shaken to be able to better understand how real the event of my Savior's death and resurrection was.
the world changed on the day the stone rolled away from that carved opening and Jesus walked out.

38 - shekels are great because you feel rich!
27 US dollars=100 shekels aww yeahh

39 - never thought I'd be so thankful for a good pair of shoes

40 - wandering around new city Jerusalem. can't get enough of this place

41 - girls night in miklot to celebrate Paige's birthday :) turned into quite the festivity. lluuuvv these ladies

42 - HAPPY DAY!!! I got a valentines package from my sweet steph and ryan!!! I couldn't stop giggling and squealing and the like. thank you so much for filling my life with such joy<3 everything in  this box is the greatest!!!

43 - went to view my blog and got this little surprise. one of my secret valentines day presents from ryan was that he bought this blog a domain name!!!! now my URL is danimcnally.com
my man is the best man. straight up

44 - overlooking the Judean wilderness. my favorite view so far

45 - the men here at IBEX treated all the womenfolk to ice cream to celebrate valentines day. so sweet!

46 - Shabbat dinner with my freshwomen ;)

47 - bonfire night. too much goodness!

48 - finally got to see my momma's face. pure excitement from Oregon to Yad HaShmona!!

49 - sun shinin on a great IBEX brotherhood... hahah :)

50 - meet our Jewish Thought & Culture prof.. Ariel Berkowitz. he is so wonderful!!!
we had 10 hours of class with him (this pic being in the last hour of class time on Tuesday) this week plus a showing of Fiddler on the Roof.. he makes everything great!

51 - the town of Bethlehem is under Palestinian rule, and it is surrounded with cement walls to discourage rebellious acts, but really only creates more of a division. graffiti covers this wall almost entirely.. it is one of the coolest things I've seen

52 - Psalm 50:1 "The Mighty One, God the Lord, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting." 

53 - Happy birthday to Bryant! Natalie and Wendy make delicious treats to celebrate every birthday in IBEX. It is one of the many kind things they do for us.. it helps us to feel like one big family. I love it here! These were chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting.. amazing.

54 - Before leaving the moshav for church, I couldn't help but be captivated by these lil yellow beauties! they cover the grass around here

55 - Purim falls in the month of February. It's a Jewish Holiday where they read the account of Esther and celebrate the deliverance of the Jewish people out of Haman's (a real bad Persian man who wanted to kill them) hands. think of it as a kind of halloween. we dressed up in costumes and got to perform a short skit. Me, Becky, and Sarah were pirates (Becky as captain haha), Leah was the magical fairy who granted our wish, and Paige is the loud moshav cat who interrupts (so typical of a cat here in Israel!)

58 - meet the Elah Valley, where David fought Goliath. it's located in the Shephelah region of Israel, one of my favorite parts of the country so far. It's green, lush, and beautiful. I loved every moment of it

59 - faithful study companions.
I owe these lil blessings to my sweet steph.. you will never know how much your treats have comforted me here!!
